Tutorial Title: How to create odd beveled text

Program: PSP 5+

Step 1: Open a new canvas, make this one about 300x300 or so. Set your background color to black and your foreground color to to a light blue type color.

Step 2: Create a new layer, and select the Text tool. Type out a word or something. Give this layer a gaussian blur of 2.

Step 3: Duplicate the current layer. Change the layer blend mode to dodge. Give this layer a gaussian blur of 2 also.

Step 4: Then, duplicate the current layer. Change the layer blend mode on this layer to difference. Give this layer a gaussian blur of 2 also. Now you should have your final image. Hint: Change the Brightness/Contrast to make the image look like the word "xanthic" below. Also try this tutorial with different colors, because every color will change the way this tutorial will end up.
