Tutorial Title: How to create rounded edges for interfaces
Program: PSP 5+
Step 1: Open a new image with the dimensions 100x100 pixels, however you can use any size you want. Set your foreground color to white and your background color to black.
Step 2: Draw a rectangle on the background layer (which should be the only lyer for now.
Step 3: Add a gaussian blur of about 3 or 4. The higher the blur is, the more round the rectangle will become, and viseversa.
Step 4: Press SHIFT + B to open the brightness/contrast dialog. this is where you get to play around a bit. I usually have my settings at 0 for brightness and about 94-97 for contrast. Don't use 100 for your contrast as that will just give you a round shape with jagged edges.
