VER. Coming Soon:

Next version coming soon.

V8

VER. 8:

V8 was online for a very long time. V8 also saw the launch of many revisions and new designs to the BB. The most popular and most asked about element of the design would have to be the menu at the top, which is actually a very simple flash movie with redrawn images of the menu rotating in every frame like traditional animation.

VER. 7.5:

V7.5 was an extension of the visual style of the V7 beta design. It was the first design I've made that incorporated a large flash movie in the index page. This was probably my most popular design. Some of the UI stylings from V7.5 were incorporated in the design for V8 of the site.

VER. 7 beta:

V7 was a return to the vertical page structure. It also was one of my brightest designs. With this design I introduced a expanded icons page as well as a new design and archiving method for the wallpapers page. However, it was a beta design and was later removed and most errors fixed with a final design.

VER. 6.5:

A few months after V6 went online, I decided to make a V6.5. I still liked the design of the original 6, and I didn't want to make an entirely new design, so I just changed the interface casing color to a nice blue color. In the end I prefered the orange design over the blue one. This was online for about 4 months.

VER. 6.0:

I liked the design of version 5 so much that I decided to keep some design and style elements for version 6. This version was also horizontal, but was more functional and compatible than version 5 was. Some of the design highlights are sets of mechanical arms, a shiny casing, and a nice shade of orange.

VER. 5:

This version was the first major layout redesign to this site in a while. The whole design was horizontal and to my knowledge was one of the first horizontal sites. This design was up for a little longer than v4 was. However, it was taken down due to excessive table errors and gaps due to the horizontal design.

VER. 4:

V4 was somewhat similar in design to both the v3 designs in that they all share the same sub page structure. The style of this design was industrial with lots of dirty textures. It wasn't online very long, not because of any errors, but mostly because I had grown out of the dark style of the design and wanted something slick and shiny.

VER. 3.5:

I really liked the v3 design at the time, so I decided to remix it and fix the Netscape problems the original design had. The new design used slightly darker grays and had a more metallic look. All the subpages stayed the same except for the slight change in colors. V3.5 was online for a pretty long time, but died for the cause of grunge...

VER. 3.0:

V3 was one of my first designs to use a 3d like interface. The design also featured a nifty use of tables and snazzy subpages. This layout was a bit big filesize wise. The design also had a Netscape issue in which some of the tables would display an incorrect bg image, thus the design was taken down. Bottom thumb opens a subpage.

VER. 2.0.3:

V2 was the design series that just kept on going. In total there were about 5 or 6 different designs wearing the label of v2. The other designs in the v2 series have not been completely found yet. This design was titled "the spring edition," and was my first "edition" I guess. The design had some ugly flash at the top. *ashamed* :]

VER. 2 (pill) Remix:

This was an attempt at remixing and fixing the Pill iface. It was never finished because the "spring edition" took its place. The only changes to the design were smoother curves at the top and the bottom, a fixed mailing list, and round center. Also, subpages were created, the original design used the subpages from Genesis.

VER. 2 (pill):

I loved this design *sighs* I was still in my green phase. This design was pretty nice, it had a header graphic which was changed every once in a while and had some spiffy java drop down menus. But the design was laid to rest due to conflicts between Netscape and my drop down menu. For some reason... Netscape would make the page like 50,000 pixels wide.

VER. GENESIS:

The design that started xanthic.net. This was originally designed only as a placeholder for the domain, but became a working interface. The design also had a hidden horizontal section to the far right of the site but a complete horizontal design was never finished. The scattered spheres spun and were major ram hogs. The design also introduced the tip of the week.
